| Members of Holy Spirit Parish will once again have the opportunity to “Spiritually Adopt” a baby who will be conceived this month. Not all newly conceived babies are allowed to be born. In fact, more than 3200 babies lose their lives in the U.S.A. every day to abortion. It is these babies you are being asked to “spiritually adopt”. You may adopt a child individually or as a family. You may wish to name the child for whom you will be praying for, and please make a personal commitment to pray for this child and his/her parents daily. The power of prayer is great. Your prayers can give the gift of life. This project will run 9 months, from January 19th (March for Life Weekend) through October 6th (Respect Life Sunday). If you would like to participate you just need to pray the prayer below each day. There are a few prayer cards in the vestibule at St. Agnes and on the radiator at IC if you would like one. You will get to see monthly updates on your “Spiritual Baby’s” progress on our parish website, and in the bulletin. Everyone will be invited to attend a “Baby Shower” in the fall.
